  1. Thank you Kathy! This one vacation will be with us forever. You have to be the most responsive property owners around and to top it off, thought of absolutely EVERYTHING. Kokomo was clean, well stocked, and felt completely safe. We can’t thank you enough.
I would also like to add if you’re a family who hates theme parks and tons of tourists, this is the place for you! Our days were filled with being together as a family, relaxing, reconnecting, and playing each day by ear. No set agenda except for one planned charter. With 3 active boys, I can’t remember the last time I didn’t feel like I needed a vacation from my vacation. We explored, enjoyed nature and each other. Nothing will ever compare!

  2. We are still interested in booking for our 25th anniversary. We wondered how thing are going since the hurricaine
. Please let us know! I will try to find you on facebook.

    1. South Abaco is doing very well, and we are ready for guests (actually already HAVE guests)! Maxwell’s, our huge grocery store, opened today, and they are very well stocked. It will soon have a bank and pharmacy in the building. The government mini-hospital is open, and Dr. Charite’s office is opening in Abaco tomorrow. We have had stable power for 2 weeks, and just had Cable TV and Internet restored this week. Several restaurant options are open: Pete’s Pub at Little Harbour, The Sandpiper Inn at Schooner Bay, The Delphi Lodge, Nancy’s Seaside Restaurant in Sandy Point, and some other smaller places. Catering is available – in house or delivery. The bakery at Crossing Rocks is great! It is easy to get to Abaco through Nassau already, and the Marsh Harbour airport will be open to International flights soon. We would love to have you! Visiting Abaco is a GREAT way to help with the recovery. The people of Abaco need the work. Thanks for checking!

  3. Hi, Kathy! Can’t tell you how much we miss Kokomo! We stayed in Hope Town last summer (several weeks before Dorian) and had a wonderful time, but there’s nothing like the serenity of the Cherokee Sound and the comfort of your beautiful home!! Praying for the restoration of the Abacos and hope to visit again soon! Chuck & Karen

    1. Great to hear from you, Chuck & Karen! Thank you for your support and prayers. This has been a hard year for so many people, and we are hoping Abaco can have good times ahead. Casuarina is the same as always, and we are so thankful that there have been no cases of COVID in Abaco - hoping it can stay that way. We would love to have you back when you are ready! Thank you!

  4. A HUGE Thank you to Kathy for letting us stay at Kokomo for 10 days. The entire family (Marty, Krista, Adam, and Karli), will remember this stay forever. We had a blast! The cottage was amazing and had everything we could ever need. The Carolina skiff was so great to have and use. We were able to snorkel, fish, and explore almost every day. It gave us access to the reefs and blue holes, and we witnessed things that we will never forget. To name a few… the remarkable fish, sting rays, eagle rays, and turtles were just a blessing to view and experience.
We loved the fact that the place had EVERYTHING! From the kitchen to the ocean, we had everything we could ask for. We cooked and BBQ’d every day, and used the various beach and ocean “toys” from the racks. We paddle boarded, kayaked, and snorkelled with turtles and Rays, fished for bone fish, snapper, and barracuda, and explored the numerous islands in the area. Walking the miles of beach in the mornings and evenings was so relaxing and family-bonding. We tried our best to leave everything exactly how we found it, replaced the consumables we used, and cleaned as we went. Hopefully, we did everything right. We are looking forward to making this a regular event, and hoping we are always welcome to return and enjoy again. We couldn’t be happier!
From all of us here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. . . Thanks so much, eh!

    1. Oh Krista and Marty! This makes me SO HAPPY! We try to provide everything we would want to help make the most of time at Casuarina Point, and it is great to hear that you think we were successful. Thank you! We would LOVE to have you back, and we also hope this will be a regular event!
      Kathy 🙂

  5. Kathy,

You have one fantastic place. It was clean and well stocked and quiet. We enjoyed everything about KOKOMO and we thank you for making this one of the very best trips to the Abaco’s that we have ever done. We stayed in 2022 and can’t wait to come again
