Abaco Splash – Adventures with Glen Kelly

Glen Kelly
Glen Kelly

Born with sand between his toes Glen hails originally from the capital of Nassau on New Providence Island but spent many summers in the water on Eleuthera during his childhood.  The sea has always been his first love and from the first fish caught in the Family islands to the long summers of spear fishing in North Eleuthera, these waters have always been his playground.  Turning his passion into a profession Glen obtained a double major in Marine Science and Biology from the University of Tampa and came back home to be a part of the opening team for the world famous aquariums at Atlantis, Paradise Island.  After a long and fruitful career in many of the marine areas at Atlantis, Glen and his family looked for quieter times in the Abacos.  The Kelly’s are still enjoying being pioneers in the new village of Schooner Bay and the passion of sharing the beauty of our  Bahamian waters with you through guided tours from Schooner Bay Harbour and other points in South Abaco.  Drawing on his marine biology background and as a PADI certified Dive Master there are many unique and engaging experiences you can participate in.  Weather dependent we can offer snorkeling, spear fishing, line fishing, water skiing or just a quiet afternoon ride to enjoy the spectacular coastline and the sights of Abaco from the sea.  Rates start at $250 for a minimum of 2hrs and $100 per hour thereafter (maximum of 4 adults). Spend an evening with us or the whole day! E-mail us at abacosplash@gmail.com  Contact Glen at 242-557-1213 or Tracy at 242-557-1015.
