The Blackfly Lodge is a beautiful ‘anchor’ building on the harbour at Schooner Bay. It is a high-end fishing lodge managed by Clint Kemp, who is also the host and a great chef. Clint has worked with their new chef, Devon Roker, to offer seasonal Bahamian seafood daily. The menu might include local lobster or fish – or stone crabs when they are in season. Devon studied at the Culinary Institute of Ft. Lauderdale and honed his skills at some of the best hotels in Nassau.
The large dining table is in the kitchen of this beautifully appointed lodge. If the lodge is full with 2 people per room, the table is full, so you must call for reservations.
The lodge has a cozy bar in a living room setting and a large veranda that overlooks the harbour and Schooner Bay property.
