  1. There were seven of us that just spent seven days at Calypso, and we had an absolutely wonderful time! Casuarina Point was spared from Dorian, and I would not hesitate to book here. We had incredible fishing from shore, as well as on the reef using the boat provided with the property. I cannot express enough how nice it is to have a boat come with the rental! We chartered a deep sea trip with Charles Albury, catching a nice wahoo. Deb Burrows catered a wonderful meal. We paid a visit to the bakery in Crossing Rock, where we also ordered coconut bread that Ms. Burrows delivered to us when she brought our meal. (The bakery owner was Deb’s sister.) The ocean, beach, sunrises and sunsets were beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, kayaks and paddle boards. The house had everything you could ask for. We frequented the Chicken Farm Store three times (love that little store — it always had what we wanted), while also enjoying their homemade ice cream. Maxwell’s Grocery was well stocked and we were able to purchase what we needed. We were also able to rent a van to get around. We tried to have lunch at Pete’s Pub but, unfortunately, they were closed that day. We toured Cherokee Sound and tried to see Schooner’s Bay. Kathy is incredibly responsive, and she was instrumental in helping us resolve any logistical problems we encountered trying to get there after Hurricane Dorian. This was our second time staying at Calypso, and we hope to visit again!! Thank you, Kathy, for sharing your incredible property with us!

    1. Thank you for everything, Shelly! We appreciate your business and the way you supported the small businesses in Abaco. We would love to have you back some day. 🙂
