Take the boat to Little Bay to enjoy a swim and/or picnic!

We think it is really fun to go in the boat to Little Bay to picnic and swim.  It is a gorgeous, private beach, and the water is BEAUTIFUL!  It has a sand bottom and is SO clear – it ‘invites you’ to swim!  In the first picture, the beach in the far background is Casuarina Point – so not far.

It is best to go at high tide since you will be crossing a shallow area, and when you get close to Little Bay, you need to stay close to shore (on the

Little Bay is protected by the point you see in the background.  The sand is soft and white.

On our last visit to Little Bay we were thrilled to be sharing the bay with a pod of Dolphin!  They stayed around our boat for 30 minutes at least!  The older/larger ones were not as playful, but the smaller ones kept coming right by the boat!  I will like to a video clip so you can see some of the fun!

The water is SO CLEAR you can see them swimming underwater and know exactly where they are to watch for them to come up for air.  They are so graceful and beautiful!

One last picture of Little Bay – looking out from under the rock overhang.  It can be a good place to get out of the sun.
